I knew I couldn't be the only one advocating for the convenience of moist towelettes or just plain ol' baby wipes as I mentioned in my "O.M.O. Secrets" post. //Read here//

moist-towelettes

NYT Fashion jumps on amazing-ness in a wipe to feature the onslaught of a million reason to use them. From Sunscreen to tanning bronzer to deodorant the wipes have been infused with whatever you can think of, packaged and sold as some ingenuine idea!

I hold fast to my initial POV, use a good unscented hypo-allergenic baby wipes for makeup removal or a quick freshen up session and most needs--your life will be changed forever. But feel free to supplement with a few specialty wipes.

It's the trend and the DIY-frenzy that won't die--Spikes.

Maybe it's just too fun, maybe it's just too cool, maybe because there are always new things to stud, spike or rivet that you never thought to before, but it's certainly a trend that has no end in site. I believe it's time for me to concede to my own spikey dreams--get my oxfords, handbags and turbans in on the action!

Don't forget to vary sizes, placement design and metal finishes of the studs, spike, rivets to differentiate your look and technique from the next "Studding Stacy." What will you be studding?

Tucked in the depths of your closet, I bet you have a cute pair of neon orange Nike Air Max or ice cream colored Reeboks. They miht not even be tucked that far, you just wore them yesterday didn't you?

Cheers to you if you did because there's a comeback of kicks for ladies! I said it //HERE// a bit ago and so does trusty WWWD.

Bape has also jumped on the steez with a line for women due out this fall in limited numbers...and there's always the men's section. Size 6 in Boys, please!

Free from the sartorial confines of knits, coats and cardigans that the cooler weather calls for, we can flaunt our wrists with lots of love and accoutrements this summer!

What the shit with the torrential winds gusting to a million miles per hour in June! Above is what you wear in the summer when it's freezing!

It's a double post! Are you ready!?

Alllsoooo, my hair. Gave my length a rest and opted for the true me. But here's a tip: When rocking short hair, 86 the Rihanna chops and go for the grown out look. It's the longer version of the Ri-ri asymmetrical bob. See Christine of Christeric with the look also!

It's the "Mullet Effect." A dress, sweater, blouse. It's serious, minimal and basic in the front but like a party in the back, all draped, cut-out buttoned or exposed-zipped. Use the trend to stay conservative, cool and sexy this summer.

In faves like Miu Miu and boho-style Cavalli pieces, Elisa Sednaoui in D la Repubblica is not only an amaze visual, the editorial is a reminder on styling tips and trends for Spring 2011. I note elements that I'll be tapping into this season!

We all know the 70s are trending hard this season, right? You don't have to be a fashion-know-it-all to notice the light washed flared denim, loose fringe-y knits and maxis in every shop to realize the era among us.

So it's no surprise that everyone would hop on these paisely print billowy bell bottom situations. I could def even get into a tie dye printed one--might as well take it all the way! See a few shopping options below!

It's the trend that keeps on trending, and with the '70s on every shop's inspiration board you might as well go out and get your own because the Maxi Skirt is here to stay!

Click on each shot for a link to different ways I've worn my maxis and a previous trend report on the '70s keystone.

The closet transition from winter to spring always looks like the shift from black and white tv to high def! Pops of color and light contrasting textures gives a new rush to getting dressed. Much like the shot above: splashes of color, leather and metals combine for an image that is characteristically spring.

Take note of the Spring trend: blue! Cerulean, cyan, turq, navy, sky...it'll all be big for the warmer season. Wear different shades together for a modern monochromatic look.

Constantly in and out of leopard phases, I’m definitely back in love at the moment!

Whether you add a bold leopard coat to finish off a look or simply add a bit of spice with an unexpected leopard pump, your 'fit will stand out from the crowd of neutral accoutrements. Just be sure to focus on one statement piece, like in these lovely street style shots from Stockholm Streetstyle.

And a bonus! To all of my fellow leopard enthusiasts out there, here are a few of my favorite recent finds courtesy of //NASTY GAL//:

How outrageous are these Jeffrey Campbell Lita shoes?

As I am typically dressed in black and grays with eye-catching accents, I am obviously a fan of all things glitter. What better way to roll in the New Year than in dazzling (not to mention, 5 inches of dazzle) platforms?

A pair of black military boots was seriously the best investment I have made lately. You can fashion so many different looks with the clunky, staple boot. Whether it's with all black for a grunge day or with a girly dress and tights, you can fool people into thinking you’re a B.A.M.F.
